Gardener - Fair Haven, Bournemouth

10 September 2026
Christadelphian Care Homes exists mainly, although not exclusively, to care for members of the Christadelphian Faith. We operate several Care Homes and Sheltered Housing schemes throughout the UK and can deliver care tailored to individual needs from low support through to residential, nursing and specialised care, including dementia. Our aim is to enable our residents to lead fulfilling lives and participate in regular activities, individually tailored to residents’ wishes.

At Fair Haven, we are looking for a Gardener to join our team, working two days a week for 14 hours, with flexibility for the right candidate. As a Gardener at Fair Haven in Bournemouth, you’ll help create the kind of stimulating environment that enables us to deliver quality, person-centred care by maintaining our grounds to the highest standards. You’ll ensure our home always makes a great first impression, and that our outside areas can be fully enjoyed by residents looking for some fresh air or a change of scenery. Your role as a Gardener will involve looking after our equipment and structures like fencing, keeping our grounds safe and tidy (including clearing any snow and ice in the winter), and planting a range of flowers, shrubs and trees. Experience with established gardens including ponds is preferred.

The ideal candidate joining our friendly team would be happy to work on their own for extended periods, but also occasionally alongside the wellbeing team with their resident activities. From time to time, you may be asked to help with the overall maintenance of the home, working as a Maintenance Assistant as directed by the Home Manager. This may involve some light decorating or general repairs inside the home.

Please note that this role is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure. We do not accept sponsorship for this role.
