Christadelphian Care Homes exists mainly, although not exclusively, to care for members of the Christadelphian Faith. We operate a number of Care Homes and Sheltered Housing schemes throughout the UK and are able to deliver care tailored to individual needs from low support through to residential, nursing and specialised care, including dementia.


At our home in Coventry we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join us on a part time basis.

Reporting to the Head Chef you’ll help prepare and serve tasty, nutritious meals that our residents will enjoy. At main mealtimes, you’ll add those much-loved finishing touches and throughout the day you’ll ensure all kitchen equipment and areas are properly cleaned and maintained and all food is stored in a safe and hygienic way.

To be successful in this role you’ll have the following:

A hard-working individual, ideally with experience of working in a busy kitchen. Some experience in a care home setting is preferable.
A motivated self-starter, comfortable taking responsibility for your area of work.
A flexible and adaptable approach that puts clients’ needs and preferences first.
A good understanding of the importance of nutrition and mealtimes to older, vulnerable people.
An excellent team player who takes pride in your job and is happy to go the extra mile.
An understanding of food hygiene and health and safety rules.
