Christadelphian Care Homes is seeking an individual with vision, dedication and governance experience to serve as a Trustee (voluntary position).

We’re looking for an individual who:
• Is an active member of a Christadelphian Ecclesia
• Understands the responsibilities of good governance
• Has prior experience sitting on a governing board (charity or otherwise)
• Understands the legal duties and responsibilities of a UK charity trustee
• Is passionate about Christadelphian Care Homes and is willing to devote time and energy to the role on a voluntary basis.
Experience in governance is essential.

Statutory duties:
1. Ensure CCH is carrying out its purposes for the public benefit.
2. Comply with our governing document and the law.
3. Act in CCH’s best interests.
4. Manage CCH’s resources responsibly.
5. Act with reasonable care and skill.
6. Ensure CCH is accountable.
Individual Requirements
• To be a member of a Christadelphian ecclesia.
• To be able to commit to an average of 5 hours a month.
Additional desirable knowledge
• Personal experience as a family member of a resident.
• To be able to commit to an average of 5 hours a month.
• To have experience of sitting on a governing board.
• To have a knowledge of safeguarding.
